A big part of me struggles with the fact that when life gets hard, or sad, or stressful, my first instinct isn't to "go to God." I ask my parents for advice or their opinions on what they think I should do, I always ask my friends for their input, or most often, I end up over-thinking the situation until it's hashed up like pureed vegetables!
God has all the answers for me. He has a master plan for my life and knows the outcome of every hardship I face or every "slump" I go through. He's there to pull me through every time, yet I rarely turn to Him first. Sure, it's great asking advice from parents and friends, but there is so much comfort and peace in surrendering your control and just giving it all up to God!
My newest challenge for myself (and you) is to look up whenever I feel uncertain, lost, scared, or just plain confused about where He's leading me! I know this is contradicts my last post about looking down at the ground for pennies, so just try to do both! We have always been great at multi-tasking!
