What a morning!

I've been so excited to write this post since about 7:15 this morning! I had such an amazing morning and I could not wait to share it with all of you!

First off, I woke up at 4:42 this morning (I never set my alarms on the :00 or :05, yes I know I'm weird) for my morning interview on NTV Good Morning Nebraska! I will not be quitting my day job as an OT to be any kind of anchor or actor...but nonetheless it was a great experience for me to spread the word about what I'm doing on my professional rotation. Who knows, maybe some farmers and/or their wives saw the segment and will think about trying out the stretching routine! :) That's all I can ask!

Anyway, after my interview I was heading back to Kearney at 7:00 AM and the sky was just getting ready for the sunrise. I really did not have anywhere to be for another hour and I was already awake, so what did I do? I pulled off on the next gravel rode to chase the sunrise, of course!

After swerving to avoid 3 deer, flipping a U-turn in someone's driveway, and pulling up next to a pasture of cattle, I found the perfect spot to turn off the radio, roll down my window, and just view God's artwork! It was the most peaceful 20 minutes I have had in a long time. I encourage you all to find some time each day to just soak in some simple pleasures. Find beauty in the mundane and thank God for it!
