My farmers...

Have you ever felt that you were called to do something big...something great?  A job, an assignment or presentation, or maybe a promotion...?  If so, were you a little intimidated or unsure that you were the right person for the job?  Or maybe you were filled to the brim with confidence in your God-given talent and ability that you were extremely excited to get the job underway!

When I started this semester working with MY farmers (because I consider all of them "mine" haha), it never crossed my mind that I could continue with this work and "expand" on it after I graduate.  My dad actually brought it up!  He said something along the lines of "Anna, have you ever thought that this could be something big?"  I think that sometimes it helps if you hear it from someone else...just one person's belief that you are capable of making a difference.
I got to test drive a track chair at Husker Harvest days this year!
My last day with AgrAbility was yesterday and we ended it with a bang--a farm visit (they are probably my favorite)!  I hold such a high respect for farmers and pray that you do too...they are some of the most hard-working people I know.  I'm going to do all that I can to continue to work with them in the future as I take my OT journey and adventures back to Carroll, Iowa!  Maybe someone over there should warn the farmers I'm coming... ;)

Look forward to writing my next post--hooding ceremony and graduation in less than 2 weeks!
