AgrAbility 2013

As I type this blog post, I cannot help but smile just thinking about what I want to share with you. :) If you recall a previous post I did from November of 2011, you'll know a little bit about my week in Indianapolis attending the AgrAbility Training Workshop there.

Well, I just got back from the 2013 National Training Workshop for AgrAbility up in Minneapolis. This time I did a little presentation about partnering occupational therapy programs (students & faculty) with state AgrAbility projects and just sort-of outlined the benefits each group would receive with this combination!
A few of the Nebraska clan!

Never have I been so welcomed into a group of people who did not know me! The people who work with AgrAbility are so enthusiastic and passionate about the work they are doing with farmers...and they work so hard to spread the word and obtain enough grant money so they can continue helping farmers.

In all honesty, being surrounded by that much passion is a little infectious and equally as inspirational! Have you ever met someone (or maybe multiple someones) who just inspire you to be better, try harder, think differently, or just simply do more?! Of course I'm going to tie this back to my relationship with God...but I truly believe that's what being around Jesus would be like. I get this feeling that Jesus is like my constant personal "cheerleader" (in a more masculine sense!), inspiring me to live my life better! I encourage you to find people who fit the description I just gave and keep them close to you...or even better, try to become that person for someone else. Be inspirational and make a difference!
