Our brains are constantly taking in new information...whether or not we decide to retain the information is another story! Here are some of the new things I have learned this week--some light-hearted and others a bit profound! :)
1. Your co-workers may try to film you singing along to songs you are passionate about! Be ever on guard for those sneaky friends and their phones angled in the perfect position! :)
2. Find some courage and don't be afraid to share your innermost feelings, secrets, dreams, fears with a friend or loved one. The support and encouragement you WILL receive will astound you and uplift you. God placed those people in your life for a reason, talk to them!
3. Flirt with an older gentleman (or guys, compliment an older lady)! Yes I said it! I come across some of the cutest "old guys" at my job and it's much too difficult to keep this comment from slipping out before I leave the room: "You are just a real cutie!" See what kind of response you get!
4. Thank God for the trials or difficult times you may be experiencing. He is drawing you closer to Him, continue to trust in His love for you and use it to strengthen your faith.
5. Some of your crazy ideas may not spread to others as quickly as you wish. My plan for a flash mob dance in the hospital cafeteria to promote and celebrate OT month has not spread like wildfire among my co-workers...not yet at least. I shall continue to be patient and persistent, or entertain other ideas for OT month.
Enjoy the rest of your week! Smile at the goofiness in your life and relish it. A wise person told me that I am the best at being me, so I encourage you to be the best at being you!
