The Proof in the Pennies

I know my first post was all about life's "unexpected moments," but all the examples I gave did not pertain to me. Well yesterday I experienced an unexpected moment.  I found out that my fieldwork site for the upcoming summer can no longer hold a slot for me.  Talk about a major change in plans!  As of now, I'm not sure where I will be for the summer, but I'm honestly not worried or freaked-out or in high-panic mode!  I actually feel an odd sense of peace about the whole dilemma.  I bet you can guess why...!

Because I found a penny yesterday, and found another today. I also received this daily Bible verse from KLOVE this morning: "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them" (Romans 8:28).  I actually chuckled a bit when I read this verse on my email because how much more proof do I need?!  Yes, this change in plans was unexpected...and yes, I'm going to have to figure out some kinks, like living arrangements and financial details, but it's so completely obvious I am meant to be somewhere else this next summer.  And, although I have no idea where that "somewhere" is, I can fully trust that God will be there every step of the way!
